How Does Trezor Generate Keys

I can't think of any legitimate reason which is frustrating because like I said, I own the Trezor T already and hate it and don't want to use it, the Trezor One is better all around but I want it to catch up and support the coins the T does and other devices like the Ledger does.

  • Trezor uses a Hierarchical Deterministic wallet(HD Wallet for short. Using an HD Wallet allows your Trezor to manage multiple bitcoin accounts with multiple addresses while still being recoverable with a simple 12-24 word seed. BIP32 - the cryptography behind how Trezor generates the keys for your bitcoin accounts from the recovery seed.
  • XPUB and Trezor. As Trezor is an HD wallet, it uses XPUB to generate all the public addresses for a given wallet.
